You know your offer inside out. But a parent is seeing it for the first time. They don't know the context or your intentions, and they can't read your mind.
Test 1: Usability testing
Ask a friend who doesn't know the process to act out a short scene with you:
"Play the role of a parent and try to enroll your child in my academy."
Don't give hints, don't help. Just watch. Pay attention to:
Where do they look for information?
What steps do they take?
Where do they get stuck?
Test 2: Message perception check
Show them a post or an ad and ask:
Who is this aimed at?
What did you understand from it?
What would you do after reading it?
If they don't know, it's not their fault. It's a sign that the message needs work.
Repeat the test and improve your enrollment process
Repeat this test with several people. The more problems you catch, the more effective the process you'll build.
Sometimes one better sentence, simpler language or a clear call to action is all it takes, and sports academy enrollment starts growing day by day.
